With the purchase of the Scheduling product, a new section within the ISW is enabled. Here we will cover the Schedule Plan, Shift Preferences and Shift Swap & Drop.

Schedule Plan
A scheduled plan is used to define the schedule view structure and the criteria used to schedule your employees. For example, employees are scheduled based on their position, department, or location.
How do you schedule your employee?
Based on the employees: Using the groups configured within the Groups section, select the groups in the order of how employees are scheduled. For example, if you are a restaurant with only one location you might schedule your employees based on Departments and Positions. And if you are a retail store with multiple locations, you might schedule your employees based on Locations and Departments.

Shift Preferences
Notifications/Confirmation
Enable the option to notify employees before their shift starts or require employees to confirm/acknowledge their scheduled shifts.
- Notify employees X hours before their shift start time
- If checked, employees will be reminded/notified of their upcoming scheduled shifts
- Employees are required to confirm/acknowledge their shifts
- If checked, employees will be required to confirm/acknowledge their scheduled shifts
Shift Swap & Drop
Shift Swap & Drop is used for employees to easily swap their shifts with one another or drop their shifts when unable to work.
- Employees can drop their shifts
- if checked, employees will be able to drop their shifts
- Employees can swap their shifts
- If checked, employees will be able to donate their shift to other employees or swap their shift with another employee's shift.
